A tasty spread which goes also well on Vollkorn Bread or Pumpernickel


quantity       ingredient       step
100 g       carrot       1
250 g tub       Philadelphia cream cheese, spreadable       2
25 g (about 2)       spring onions       2
10 to 20 g       chives or garlic chives       2
5 to 10       sweet paprika powder, to taste       2
      salt       2
      freshly ground pepper       2


  1. Peel the carrot, than grate (rather finely) into a bowl.
  2. Add the cream cheese, the thinly sliced spring onions and most of the garlic chives, the paprika powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Mix thoroughly with a fork.
  4. Sprinkle with the remaining garlic chives.
