These are the flowers we had in the garden on 29 August 2010, pretty much the end of winter. They're not all overly pretty, but the purpose of the photos is to record what was in the garden at the time. The last rose, cut a few days ago, is definitely on its last legs; I had hoped it would make it until the first day of spring:
