I've been keeping a diary online since September 2000.
During that time I have included a large number of links to other sites, many of which have
gone away. Where possible I replace them with new links to the same content, but in many
cases the sites and content are gone for good. This page is a catch-all for some of the
more interesting ones.
WiFi File Transfer
“WiFi [sic] File Transfer” was an Android app that I used
from time to time. It provided a minimal web server on the Android device, giving access to
its view of the directory tree. There's currently a new app with the
same name, but it has nothing in common. It doesn't even do HTTP, and it proves to be one of the worst
apps I have used.
