This is a classical Swedish dish, taken from Bonniers Kokbok. There are many variants. I haven't actually cooked this dish yet.

Ingredients

quantity       ingredient       step
30 g       breadcrumbs       1
150 ml       water       1
30 g       onion       2
500 g       minced beef       3
1       egg       3
6 g       salt       3
      pepper       3

Preparation

  1. Soak the breadcrumbs in water for 10 minutes. Drain.

  2. Finely chop or (preferably) puree the onion.

  3. Mix all together and form balls of about 50 g. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side.
